HE351 BatMoWheel

Does anyone have one of these on a stock turbo? Will it do what they claim?

Not sure how only replacing one wheel would help. I'm no expert by any means but I thought that both wheels were designed to work together a certain way. I'm sure others with more knowledge of turbos will chime in.

And $425 for 45 hp seems a bit steep to me!!

45hp for $400 isn't the best bang for the buck. I'm more interested in the 200 degree EGT drop, the faster spool up, and the 45hp with the existing fuel I'm using.

Save your $400, sell the stocker for $250 and put the $650 toward an aftermarket charger. I don't care what you do that 9cm exhaust is going to kill anything you do to the compressor. JMO.

I'm not really looking for high end horsepower. I'd just like a quick spool and decent towing EGTs. I don't think a larger aftermarket turbo will spool as quickly as this one. I do more stop and go driving than I do high speed highway driving.

You don't need to go large, you would be surprised how fast a 62/65/13 would spool, and how much more top end and overall power you would have. Or even the cast 62/65/14.

I've tried a Garrett stage 3 and it was noticeable. I would think a 62/65/13 or 12 would be the same. I was thinking maybe a stage 2 Garrett.

Rye Thomas is spot on.....the 62/65 spools pretty darn quick compared to stock and it moves a lot more air. The upgraded charger in that configuration is night and day difference from the stock unit.....oh, and the sound....!!!!!!
