Not sure how only replacing one wheel would help. I'm no expert by any means but I thought that both wheels were designed to work together a certain way. I'm sure others with more knowledge of turbos will chime in.

Save your $400, sell the stocker for $250 and put the $650 toward an aftermarket charger. I don't care what you do that 9cm exhaust is going to kill anything you do to the compressor. JMO.
I'm not really looking for high end horsepower. I'd just like a quick spool and decent towing EGTs. I don't think a larger aftermarket turbo will spool as quickly as this one. I do more stop and go driving than I do high speed highway driving.

Rye Thomas is spot on.....the 62/65 spools pretty darn quick compared to stock and it moves a lot more air. The upgraded charger in that configuration is night and day difference from the stock unit.....oh, and the sound....
