Has anyone tried the upgraded wheel from Stainless diesel. It's supposed to drop egt and is a bolt in replacement for the stock wheel. $400 it's less pricey than a new turbo.

 

I don't know about how it works on the 6.7 Cummins, but my buddy put one in his 7.3 powersmoke and it made a huge difference. Spool up time much quicker. I'm curious about one for my 6.7

 

Batmo wheels are a gimmick. I wouldn't have one.

 

I was reading about them. Seems like they spool up a little faster. But lose a lot on the top end.

After doing some research I've found out that they grenade. I'm not sure if the install or the wheel is to blame. I've heard the VE turbine wheel helps HE351cw. Turbo Resource sounds like the place to go for quality rebuild and modification.

 

The price of a batmo wheel doesnt justify the gains. You are not actually changing the size of the wheel for the price tag of the so called "upgrade" is nothing to speak of. Save your money and put that towards a new turbocharger that will have the gains you are looking for.
