I just bought my daughter a car and had to go 40 miles awy to get it. So off to Uhaul and I get a trailer. I topped off and reset the odo before I picked it up and again after I dropped it off. actual MPG 18.63!!

Thats good mileage towing. I just got back from Albuquerque,N.M. Hauling a 3000 pound load in the bed going down I averaged 16.8 which isn't bad because I was running right along at 75 miles per hour and more at times. On the way back I averaged 18.6 driving the same maybe a little faster at times.

 

shoulda gave her your truck and you buy another one, atleast you know she would be in a safe vehicle. would of been a good excuse for the wife for you to buy another cummins.

 

She wants my truck but I'm not letting her loose with 3 tons of iron until after she bounces off a few smaller things first. That's why I bought the disposable car for her, It's safe, lotsa airbags and crumple zones and light enough to stop before going through three motorcycles, two cars and a livingroom.
