I recently bought an SMC system for my Supra - haven't installed it yet.

They have a thread with lists of dealers for Meth.

Racing shops sell it. A chemical supply house should have it too. If you can get it in a 55 gallon drum it will be less than $2 a gallon.

I haven't tried WW fluid because I get methanol for free (with permission of course) from work. Cheap WW fluid isn't going to have more than about 25% methanol.

I'd run pure meth - it's cheaper than a new motor.

The percentage of methanol in washer fluid depends on where you live, in my area the minus 35° stuff is 50%. I've heard in places like So Calif and Arizona it's hard to find washer fluid that has any meth at all in it.
I installed a meth system for a friend a few weeks ago, he's very happy with it towing. He was able to get the 50% ww fluid locally for 99¢/ga or about $2/ga for the meth. Cheapest I've found on the internet is $2.10 plus shipping and drum deposit...

How much are we getting ripped off? A fellow agricultural researcher in Australia is experimenting with meth for storage rot prevention for apples, he gets it for 38¢/ga USD but it must be mixed with a few ppms of the most bitter substance known to man, Bitrex, to keep people from drinking it, which is also causing taste problems on the apples. Without the bitrex or something else added to keep people from drinking it the price is over $2/ga because of taxes.

Isn't methanol unstable/unsafe when pure?

100% methanol is available. Most of the meth you find for fuel is 99.95%, the .05% is castor oil for lubricity. Meth for fuel is even rated the same way biodiesel is, M50 = 50% methanol.

As far as I know the stuff isn't all that unstable when pure, I have three 55 Gal. drums here and have never had an issue. However the stuff is incredibly toxic, thus relatively unsafe I suppose. Here is a link to the MSDS sheet for it:

Drinking methanol is a really bad idea, if you're lucky you just go blind. A little too much and you're dead.

Thing that makes it unstable is exposer to the air, Really degrades it in a hurry

Excellent source you gave.
I have known Jess Hewitt, the owner of Hiperfuels for several years. He and his company are a class act. I did not know he sold Methanol...started with just Biodiesel.
They also have a new product that I am going to test for Jess. He says he has been running it in his Mercedes Diesel with great results...7-10% mileage increase! Called Platinum Diesel Fuel Treatment
