Jayme, thanks for your update on this!

DTR Member DBLR mentioned that other thread over on CF with more issues concerning DTT. I have heard a bunch myself but specifically left them out of my posts for obvious reasons. Bottom line here,.....DTT's business practices and customer service are lousy and Jayme's situation by itself proves that!

Well it seems I took a beating here also. Maybe I should not have posted they get a visit for some big guys wanting an answer for Jayme on what was the hold up. No product ,then a refund is in order.I was ripped on an line sale once and I get mad when I hear that someone I have talked to gets burned.Jayme sent me a PM once an offered to bring me a Maxbreak for my truck. I spoke to him on the phone and knew he was a good guy to offer his help. He was making a delivery just 12 miles from my house. I had the brake controller coming in the mail when we spoke so I thanked him. Possible next spring if I am well I will travel across Canada with my fiver and hope to meet up with him somewhere . I`am sorry if what I said offended anyone. Later Don

Man I hate to here about this kind of crap. I know what it cost's us every year when a mistake is made around here and one of my customers has troubles. Not once, when there has ever been evidence that it was from a mistake on our end have I ever asked a customer to pay for any part of the repair other than what was agreed on beforehand. Anything extra, is on me. I usually end up giving a deep discount for their inconvenience too.

Sorry to hear about this Jayme, and best of luck in getting something resolved. I used to be a happy DTT customer, but after seeing how Tim Barber had to deal with issues with them, I'm now just a very happy Tim Barber/TRE Diesel customer!

Good post Chris!

You know, I wasn't going to say anything here about it, but since you brought it up I will. I KNEW when our good friend Tim Barber @ TRE Diesel broke ties with DTT that something was very wrong. And your right, he did have alot of issues with them! I told several people out here that if DTT treated Tim like they did there is no telling what they would do to one of their customers! Tim can build a better tranny than they can anyway and he has proven that time and time again on the drag strip!

Hard to watch that happen over time. Now its just another internet sales company with no shop, no support it seems.
