I've been sitting here reading about all of these tuners/modules/dowloaders, etc and I see that many of them are from guys who started building their own programming and started their own companies. I've always wondered how these guys got started, because it requires a knowledge of electronics, a knowledge of computer programming, and an knowledge of how the PCM is working with all the internals of the engine. Last time I check, Cummins, Navistar and Isuzu weren't making all of this information public domain, and when I was in college, there were no Diesel truck PCM programming classes in Engineering school. I'm just curious how they got started. These guys are the ultimate hackers

 

I always wondered the same thing. I asked Marco that same question, but he never answered me.hmmm wonder why? A buddy who is really good with computers, and I were designing a computer for a car, well he met this chick and well you all know the rest........................... Nothing like an addiction that can come to you!
