OTR tractor sleeper weight

Does anybody have any idea what a 60" Aerodyne sleeper off of a late 80's Kenworth would weigh?

The one that your buddy has looks like a flattop off of a Peterbuilt. The Aerodyne off the Kenworth is a foot longer than that one, a foot to foot & half taller than that one and (I'm not 100% sure) may even be made out of fiberglass. It's the tall one that slants up from top of the cab and has an extra row of windows around that upper portion.

EDIT: upon further examination, the sleeper appears to be riveted together so I guess that rules out the figerglass.

Just for the record, it will be about 12 inches higher than the second gen cab. With the rounded top it does blend pretty good. Have seen one on a second gen and will be putting a 63 inch Peterbuilt on mine. I will raise the cab 3 inches though.

Thanks HID....
however, this would not be going on my truck. I was thinking about putting it on the front of my GN trailer that I use to haul my trail rig to make a redneck version of toy hauler. Think of it as a hard-sided tent with a big porch out back.

Checkout the pak rat RV. The bigger one looks like you could fit a jeep on it. http://www.wanderer-rv.com/

Negative.... those trailers are too light duty for my purposes. They are made for lightweight toys, like quads and sand rails. There is no way the ones I've looked at would hold up with my 5000+ lb trail rig (it's not a Jeep) plus all the tools, spares and other gear.

Are the upper side doors on this sleeper openable from the outside?

I can clearly see the handle on the lower "gear stash" door, but don't see anything resembling a handle or latch on the upper door.
