Anywhere between 3500-4000.

I'm rather embarrassed to say I'm on the same schedule as Dieseldude4x4.

Re:oil change poll

7500 per the book on light service and the fuel filter every other oil change. I tried adding Marvel Mystery oil to fuel this weekend and am noticing that the fuel mileage has increased by 1.5 mpg. Guess it helps out the winter blend fuel.

Re:oil change poll

Oil & filter right around 7000. That's usually about every three months. Fuel filter every-other oil change.

Re:oil change poll

Every 4000? Unless you're towing all the time, I can't see it.
You're just making the oil companies richer than they were twenty years ago.

When I'm unladen, it's every 7500 miles. Loaded up for a weekend of r&r and then back to unladen for the rest of the month, maybe then at 6000 miles.
Fleetguard or MOPAR filters. Rotella T or Delo.

Dino oil doesn't go bad, so there's no reason to change it earlier than necessary. I follow the Cummins recommendations.

Re:oil change poll

I'm changing mine this week after 6 months/4K. I'm taking a sample to see if I can safely run longer. Lots of putting around in traffic on my 12 mile commute, I'm worried the truck doesn't run long enough to get really warmed up.

Re:oil change poll

Every 3-4K miles, what's wrong with that??? I change ALL my gassers at 3K miles, and the dodge is due for a tranny change after the trip to the coast to watch the APBA races in Gulf Shores this past week end. it was a BLAST

Re:oil change poll

Every 12000 and oil sample it. Always comes back fine. Betcha mine lasts as long as you short changers does. 27k on it 9 months. My powerstrokes got oil change every 10k because of the oil fired injectors. Got almost 300k outa them. Fuel filters whenever they start running bad. Air filters couple times in the life of the truck.
