New Truck transit time ?

Does anyone know, roughly, how long it takes for a new truck leaving Saltillo, Mexico to get to the Nortwest by train? Seattle, say? Also, about how long does it take from start to finish to kick one out the door? Thanks.

i used to work in a train yard where we unloaded new cars. after we unloaded and parked them, they were usually gone in about 2 or 3 days, so i'd say about a week from mexico to the nw

From order date to arrival at your dealer is approximately 3 months. I ordered mine in mid-April and it arrived on July 8th.

Did you order a Megacab? I think only the Megacabs (1500/2500/3500) are being built in Mexico these days. Everything else has been moved to St. Louis for MY 2006.

PS: April to July is three months.

Quad Diesel came in two weeks ago (Mich), took almost 3 weeks to receive from Mexico after build date. The problems down south maybe an issue!

Missed your second question, cant remember exact time frame but I think it was 3 or4 days once the build date is issued. Assuming no strikes and back orders on material etc. The transit time is the big delay.
