General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Well, I recently purchased a 2014 Ford SD, Lariat 6.7 Diesel and have to say I am very happy with it so far. I have been a diehard Dodge CTD owner since 1992 but absolutely can't stand the hoods, grill or interiors on the 4th Gen Dodge CTD CR 6.7 trucks.

Also,...that Ford prototype truck that started on fire was reported to be a GAS engine truck and not the diesel engine.

Three reasons I got a 14 Ram over a Ford was for the manual transmission mega cab, exhaust brake. My 2011 f-350 has been flawless so far, ford has come a long ways

It does happen the new Acra NSX burned Ferrari 458 caught fire it happens. I am actually a Porsche guy who likes Ford and has had a number of Dodge work trucks.
Chrysler recalled 895000 SUVs for fire risk so it's not out of the ordinary.
