New truck or Old Truck?
Alas, the time has come where I am actually contemplating getting out of my trusty old truck and considering a new(er) model.....
AM I crazy?!
I really like the old truck (sig); however, that older quad cab is very good for a family of 4...
My wife will not learn how to drive a manual trans,, which i find a positive vote for my old truck ... But if she needs the 4x4 to get herself and the kids out of the house in a bad snowstorm,,,, then that positive quickly becomes a negative...
So, anybody been in the same boat as me? Need a new truck but hate to let the old one go? (The thought of trading my truck in feels like taking my dog to the vet to be put to sleep..)
It would be nice to have a pretty and shiny new truck that i didn't have to wrench on a couple/few times a year... but they just seem like they have too many fancy doo-dads that will break over time..
Thanks for reading my thoughts,, and thanks for any input..

Thanks for the reply!
I wish my wife wanted to learn how to drive a manual. She just flat-out refuses to learn. Sometimes I like that because it means that my truck is all mine.... But I would be happy for her to drive it if she wanted.
I am going to go truck shopping this weekend, we will see what happens!
