Some people feel it's best to pick one brand and stick to it because the additive package varies with each brand and some brands' additives aren't compatible with others. You never get all the oil out in a change and you might not get the same brand twice when it says Walmart on it.

The oil was Wal-Mart SuperTech 15w40 Universal Motor Oil and the filter was a Wal-Mart SuperTech filter also!!!! Here is the results of my analysis......
So what do all you K&N bashers have to say about this report?????????!!!!!!!! Any replies are appreciated!!!!

Maybe someone can explain how I can take a motified 400ex worth about $12,000 with an open air box and run it in the dustiest conditions on a motocross track, filter " K&N" looks like you took it off and rolled it in dirt , and never have any dust, dirt or anything on the other side, clean as a whistle. I highly doubt our trucks take more abuse than moidified single cyl eng turning 7-9,000 rpm . Dirt is dirt I dont think if I had a k&n on my truck that it is going too see as much dirt as my racer.

Idling a Cummins for 3 minutes to let the turbo cool takes in as much air as running around the motorcross track 3 times.

Mobil 1 filter and Rotella T oil.
I can understand walmart oil and filters in a 1978 toyota corolla, but **** these engines get a heavy load and are expensive to service. Not worth it.

Single cylinder naturally aspirated engine vs a TURBOCHARGED 6 cylinder with way more compression and air requirements. An engine that hold at most 3 quarts of oil, more like 2 quarts vs an engine that holds 3 gallons.
