Kinda' rare 6.2l 4-door 4x4 for sale

Maybe a good truck for a bio-D conversion, or just to tinker with. Seems like a good buy.

Sorry, I meant 6.2

Not exactly rare. There are hundreds of them running around AK. Alyeska service co. (the guys that maintain the transalaska oil pipeline) used them for their fleet foe years and once they were done with them the sold them to the private market. I had one a while ago while I was on a mental vacation. It did have a 6.5l (non-turbo) in it. When the 6.5s came out they were a direct replacement for the 6.2 if you needed to go that route. Not a bad price but non-turbod they are as gutless as they come IMO.

Front axle alone in that truck is worth nearly 1,200 bucks to the right buyer... Get him down to 1500 and use it for parts.

D60's are rare around here though, the SRW truck front D60's are worth a tad more too since they came in the right width.

Yes, I drove around the diesel CUCVs in the Army, often off-road- "gutless" is being too kind!

Mine could barely get out of it's own way. Took 3-4 loads to haul Edit

I quickly put a 6.5TD in my '89 cc 4wd dooley, complete with hot-chipped PCM, 3.5"ss exhaust, charge-air cooler, etc - mine will definitely haul several loads of buns at a time
