Just How Rare are...Early 98 2500, 12 Valve, SWB, QC, 4x4, SLT, 5 Speed trucks ??

Anyone have Production #s ??

I see a couple a month either on Ebay or the autotrader and about half are 5 speeds.

 

1998-2500-quad cab-leather-short bed-5spd-4x4-12v-white I can try and find some #'s. I think my build date is 12/97 but not 100% on that.

 

They were only made for 3-6 months....never been able to find production numbers

 

Any car can be pretty darn rare once you start narrowing it down to every single little option.

A 78 pinto with two tone paint 15" wheels sunroof and checkerboard interior with optional dome light could be 1 of 200 technically. (made up, but get the drift?)

 

Do you have one? That is one rare car...

And if you want to buy one, you have to figure that some of the ones that left the factory like you want one, and not in a condition like you want anymore. That pushes the numbers down even more.

 

Here's one that's rare as Hen's teeth:
1997 Lincoln Towncar "George Jones" edition rag top,teakwood dash,
leather embroidered captains' chairs with the letters "GJ" on the headrests,1 of 1 made no doubt just kidding...

 

Here's mine.

Made 11/97. Also has leather interior.

 

The only ones I have ever seen carried close to a 20,000 price tag as well
