Incorrect Ford Info

Went with my dad to pick up his 04 ford 250 w/6.0 for a reflash. The service guy told us that for 07 ford was going to have the 6.4 twin turbo, and also have the option for a cummins engine. The other thing he said was that ford owned cummins, and that the 15 year contract was expiring, allowing ford to use the cummins in their truck. I am not up on this subject, but I thought it was all pure BS. They treat my dad right with his truck, so I didn't say anything. Is any of his information correct? I know he is right about the 6.4 twin, but that is old news.

My dad is giving me a hard time........using the phrase "my dad" probably makes some of you think I'm probably 15 years old, but I'm 31. He wants to know how to know for sure that Ford doesn't own cummins. Somebody please give some factual info and how you obtained it. Thanks.

Maybe...that would help things out? - or it could ruin a great company such as Cummins....
