Factory Manual Incorrect???

I read that my 2006 3/4 ton has only ONE spot that need to be lubed & that is the the infamous shaft location. I lubed that spot. PITA

But, while looking underneath I found one grease zerk fitting on each end of the sway bar. So 2 more greasable spots?

Why wouldn't DCs manual state that??

That's interesting. Usually, there is a zerk at each tie rod end and the front drive shaft on 05/06s.

I'm sorry, you are correct. The zerk is at the end of each tie rod.

Why does the factory manual leave this out???

That's strange. My 03 manual says to lube the tie rod ends that are only on 4x4's, but doesn't say anything about the front drive shaft...

My manual points out both tie rod ends and the front driveshaft grease points. It may be listed in the maintanance booklet that comes in the manual folder. cdru

So on a 2006 4x4 there are THREE spots to grease -

Driveshaft
2 Tie Rod Ends

Nothing else, correct??
