Your truck doesn't have a throttle body? Mines right next to the distributor.

They definitely increase mpgs but only when you are at 15psi or more boost. It's really weird but on both my trucks and several others I know get 2-4 better mpgs towing on hills than they do on flat land with a TAG.
The TAG really quiets down turbo noise also, I wouldn't be without one.
Quiet the noise down? I pulled the silencer so I could bask in some more whine! Ever since Killdozer I equate turbo scream with serious business.

Yep! It is a Ford F350 parked under the world's largest dump truck. This brings awhole new meaning to the phrase "parallel parking".

Well with that theory you should email that guy and have him change his claim to SAVE UPTO 100%!!! Pretty much any claim that has upto in it I lose interest, let's talk about worst case scenario instead of best....

My guess is you are much, much younger than I am.
After 50 years running diesel equipment and trucks I'd rather preserve what hearing I have left.

I had a tornado on my 95 chev gasser and I saw a gain of about 34-36 miles more out of a tank of gas. The truck has a 25 gallon tank on it so I was pleased with it. Never thought about putting one on my new truck, will have look into it. Of course I would have never thought about using one of these gizmos on my old truck but I was only getting 10 mpg from it so I was willing to try anything, and the tornado worked in this case.

While I do like turbo whistle and in that case actually have removed my turbo silencer but as for cab and engine noise, I could do without all of that. I have some insulation at my doors, fenders, oil pan, and a 1" thick hoodliner in addition to the interior stuff.

This KSB-1 with the scotty is starting to get on my nerves. I'm only 20 and I like to listen to the turbo but dang, this thing is down right obnoxious.

Greg, the Noise ****, warned me drilling the hole in the cowl would make it sound like "a hoover vacuum." So I opted not to do that with my filter. Maybe there can be to much of a good thing!

Scotty himself agrees that the TAG is a great addition to his intake for folks who grow tired of the whistle.
I know several folks who reluctantly removed their Scotty until they found out how much noise the TAG cuts out. Usually with a Scotty it's the person riding shotgun who suffers the most.
