I'm afraid if the merger happens Dodge trucks will just go away. And that would be VERY bad. I want my truck powered by Cummins. I want a straight axle. And I won't be moving to Ford as an alternative.

Maybe it's time to buy another Dodge and just put it away for later.

This morning on the news a GM spokesman said there were no merger talks and that it was just a rumor.

I think the merger's already on it's way, one will be directed by the House, the other by the Senate.

Sorry, I couldn't resist, since today it's been announced that bailout money has been approved for both of them. So the goverment will eventually get thier hands on operations as well. You knew it would happen sooner or later....
