First time I've seen them use Transforce Firestones now.

I've heard they are good though.

Time will tell. The tread is a little more aggressive than that of the Michelin tires I've seen them put on most trucks, so that's a good thing.

I just put 4 new transforce at's on my truck. I have used them since they replaced the steeltex. A fantastic tire in my opinion. I got 46k out of the last set.

Nice truck Hoss, happy for you.

I really think after the Firestone/ford problems that Firestones quality control is way up I have run quite a few sets of the Transforce tires and think they are a very good tire ,long wear and good ride too my.02

Thanks! But it's brand new and Blake already has me making plans to delete it. I haven't even hit 500 miles yet.

A late note, but nice truck!!
Congrats on not buying a Ford time bomb. I think Ram has caught up with Ford on interiors. The Cummins motor is the most reliable diesel in a light truck. The other 2 may be faster, but seem to have more long term issues.
I believe the Cummins 6.7 has 30% fewer parts than either of the V8s.
