Truly amazing... Did Ford do any real world testing on that truck before they released it? Is that a bad injector knocking and dumping fuel into the exhaust system? Why would anyone take a chance on a Ford diesel after all of these problems?

C'mon - there's gotta be something wrong with that truck - it sounded like a freakin jackhammer. I wonder if it was one of the trucks that had an inkjector let go -

If there is something wrong with that truck what's with the sudden recall and stopping sales of all the new 08 trucks?

Yes, bad injector. A healthy 6.4 sounds like any other V-8 diesel.

Does Ford have the extra injector in the exhaust system? I wonder if that is the leaking injector problem that is causing this?

fords officially have an afterburner now...they sure are gonna be able to drive fast to the dealer weekly for all the impending recalls. thats just crazy, i guess that never happened in the 10 million miles of testing they did
