Ford question

Don't get me wrong guys i am a loyal Doge/Cummins guy but this is almost to good to pass up. I was looking through the state wide truck paper and found this, Kind of strange how cheap it is. The right side is wrinkled but it does look prety mean. What kind of millage does this beast get? If it gets desent millage i might have to look into it. What do y'all think.

OK I am thining I can get 14 city (not hard on the go pedel) 18 maybe 20 highway. With a 5 speed CTD I might get 17-18 city and 22-24 highway (I drive like a grandma) Do these number sound right? I would like the extra room fo the ford but a CTD is a lot more reliable. I am only going to drive this truck for maybe 3 years then turn it into a puller and buy a new one. Is the Ford a Good daily driver or should I stick to the CTD?

Just thinkin' that the price may be too low?

As in, probably 7th engine, 2nd buyback, 3rd tranny, 2X4 lift kit and ratty interior low?

Just a thought...

Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like its been on its side.
I say that due to the dents down the side (Or is that snow falling down the side of the truck) and the front passenger window trim appears to be broken.
Indicators that the truck may have gone 90* at some point in its life.
Id take a REAL good look at it before laying down the money.

Rich.

It was alid down and that is why it is so cheap. I was going to look at it but I called my insurance and the said that i would have to fix the truck before the insured me ( so I couldn't scam them later) Then it would be like 1k every 5 mo. Too much for me. I'll just buy a first gen duely!
