Quite some years back Cummins and even the other engine makers were in need of financial help, due to the economy then. Ford had some stock(-10%) and Cummins used Ford gas engines solely for the gensets and maybe in other apps too. 2-3 yrs. ago Cummins paid all it's debt off to everyone 3yrs early. The very next day! a 8.1 chevy powered NG genset showed up! And did it blow the doors off the v-10. OH YEAH!
