Ford Own Cummins

My buddy just bet me 100 dollars that FOrd owns Cummins. I told him hes so full of crap and that my fellow internet companions were gonna love this. Please help give proof to prove him wrong. Thanks for all that respond.

Go to the Cummins website and look under frequently asked questions. If this does not convince your friend, go to the Freightliner website. Do a search on the history of them, in there they talk about the Ford/ Cummins debackle.

Good luck.

Go to the link, its their latest 10K. Read the whole thing, NO FORD. Your friend sounds like a troll. Instead of wasting your time, tell him to prove Ford owns Cummins.

NOT!

Go here, lists all principle owners of 5% or more stock. FMR is Fidelity Mutual.

Some looser in a Powerjoke said the same thing.I stopped for breakfast and commented about his F550. I said nice truck, bla bla bla. He told me Ford owns Cummins. My next stop was my local Cummins dealer for an oil filter. I asked the rep the same question. He said flat out NO! Ford doesn't own Cummins, but they do own a bunch of shares.Ford couldn't afford to buy all of Cummins... DC wouldn't let that happen.

Ford doesnt own any shares. They did awhile back but it was only a few shares and Cummins bought them all back.
