Question Does Ford own Cummins

My dad bought a 2006 F350 powerstroke and while he was at the dealer two guys that worked there told him the ford owned cummins is this true

Ford does NOT own Cummins or any part of it.

I would probably run away from the dealership and the people who work there that told you that

Is this a joke? OK - I'll bite - NO - Ferd does NOT own Cummins.

No. Ford does not own Cummins. Ford owns CumminGs. BIG difference.

I find it QUITE odd that you hear Ford guys brag about how Ford owns CumminGs, but you never hear a Dodge guy talking about how Dodge owns International

Certainly, the international is a better engine, or Ford wouldn't use it, right?
