Question Does Ford own Cummins

My dad bought a 2006 F350 powerstroke and while he was at the dealer two guys that worked there told him the ford owned cummins is this true

Is this a joke? OK - I'll bite - NO - Ferd does NOT own Cummins.

THEN go back to that dealer and make a $100 bet with those goofy salesmen, show them this site, and collect your hundred bucks. PM me so I can send you my address so you can send me my $50 cut :-)

No. Ford does not own Cummins. Ford owns CumminGs. BIG difference.

I find it QUITE odd that you hear Ford guys brag about how Ford owns CumminGs, but you never hear a Dodge guy talking about how Dodge owns International

Certainly, the international is a better engine, or Ford wouldn't use it, right?
