This is my dads 3rd powerstroke his first one was a 2000 F250 7.3L It seemed to be a good truck with no problems but he did only have about 18k miles when he sold it. The 2nd one was a early 2003 with a 7.3L still a good truck but with even less miles than the first one and now the 2006 6.0L with only about 1500 miles on it. He only pulls 12000 lbs about 8-10 times a year so he diffently don't put it to the test. So far he likes it but he only get 12 mpg hand calculated EMPTY

Not true. Ford STILL owns 27% stock in Cummins. You can read all about it at this site:

And dont forget that Ford fixed the injection system on the Cummins too, I guess they spent so much time making our engines awesome they didn't have any left to make the 6.0 good...
