There isn't ANYTHING salvageable there! it looks like everything on the right side is pushed back and impaled on a pole or something. There was NO surviving that!

By the looks of it, if they extricated him in a speedy manner, he LOST his legs, but being transported by air, and keeping shock from killing him, he might have lived. No way his legs were saved tho.
