what was that in, from the pic, you are looking at the rear of the engine, but is that an exhaust stack at the right side?

after studying the picture its sad the say the driver couldn't have survived unless they were ejected before impact (rollover etc) but i highly doubt it

that engine is sitting ON the front drivers seat. you can still see the seatbelt, trim where it comes out of the seat, and the seat has a cover on it.

the roof and pillar have been cut off which again leads me to believe they had to extricate the body. just WOW

Where's the dash, steering column, all that stuff? Its like there's no firewall at all. I understand maybe how the engine could get there with great force, but how does the plastic airbox tube get through all through the dash and HVAC panels and still be intact? That's a hit.

Wow.

I worked in salvage yards for years and I've seen some BAD wrecks, but that is definitely the worst.

We did have a toyota MR2 come through the auction yard once in three different piles, but we didn't buy that one.

That truck looks like a dozer ran over it after the train hit...

Either that, or it does look remarkably similiar to the aftermath of a Transporter malfunction during an Ion Storm.

Wow. Not much else I can say. At least, if there's anything positive, the driver & passanger probably perished so quickly they had no idea what hit them. Man, that's a good Driver's education photo - lesson.

Also the engine, while still intact, probably has so many stress risers all over it that the block would be only a fraction of it's original strength.
