Changing the shut-off solenoid on my '94 Cummins 8.3L. My question is, in the run position, should the pump shut-off lever be in the full up/counter clockwise position or should it be slightly pre-stop? It appears that the old solenoid positioned the shut-off lever slightly pre-stop but I don't want to assume that that is the correct position.
