Exclamation Check your fuel receipts (Heads up)

I have first hand knowledge of several fuel stations presently under investigation for charging .20 more per gallon than what they have posted on their signs and pumps.

Compare your receipts to what the pump says and to how many gallons were pumped.

Sorry I can't provide more details since it's an ongoing investigation.

Does this apply only to the west coast guys or should those of us out here on the east coast be on the lookout too?

My extent of knowledge only includes West Coast, but that's all I'm privy to.

Pump price only problem, or the price listed on the sign? Around here at most of the truck stops, the price on the sign is less taxes for the exempt trucks.

Signs read 3.39 per gallon Diesel, actual charge 3.59 per gallon.

Yeah, but what did the price on the pump read? Like I said......the signs around here advertise the "exempt" price.

pumps read 3.39...They don't advertise exempt out here. They've already been busted twice recently. That's all I can elaborate.

When I bought fuel in IN I bought gift cards at Speedway . The $50 cards cost $48 . I get the exempt price because I have an MC number but the pumps gave me the exempt price without asking the MC number when I used the gift card .
