I got a call from mom saying that a friend of ours needed help finding 2 loose horses in a state park near us. So me and my 2 younger bros, 17 and 14, jump into my truck and take off. Well as we are getting near the road to the state park, I get a call saying that they were found. So I take a left instead of right to go back home. Before I turned on to my road, a Ford, Ext cab, short bed, 250 6.0 PSD is sitting there. I turn and my bro says "He wants to talk to you." So I back up to the right, straighten out, and pull up next to him. He is about 19-20, same as me, has his buddy, grinning like a idiot, and looked like girlfriend sitting in the truck too. He says "how ya doing?" I said "Fine". He then asks how I was feeling, I shrug. "Can you take this?" he asks, as he starts to power-brake. I am hearing his straight piped exhaust spooling his turbo. "You bet!" I get the rpms about 2000 and dumped the clutch in 2nd as he takes off. He just got past me when I threw her into 3rd. By the time I hit 4th I had just passed him. When I 80 in 5th, I was about 3-4 truck lenghts ahead. I step on the clutch and give a few "victory" puffs. I decided to be courteous and talk to him about it. So I start to pull over as he flies pass me. His buddy gave me the bird, no more smile.

So as we go home my bro and I are talking about it when he says, "Lets hook up our trucks." He has the 86 6.9 IDI non turbo. So we hook up for 4 pulls. He whuped me in everyone except when we first started. I was in 4hi and he was in 2 hi

Whats his rearend ratio? We have a 6.5 GMC 4x4 with a 4.56 at the Fire Dept and i bet it would drag my cummins around. It doesn't have the speed 70mph is all shes got but man it will pull.

so let me get this straight....u claim u beat a 6.0 PS in a race and then u lost to a 6.9 truck that was in 2 wheel drive and you were in 4x4 in a pull?...where can i get this crack?
