Unhappy My Bro did it....

He got a 86 F250 4x4 6.9L IDI sunday. I am not bashing it....MUCH! I can count the number of rust spots on 2 hands. VERY repairable. Red/White/Red is the color. Since I got a diesel he wanted one. Now he has one and is looking to add twin turbos, 5" turn-outs, turn the pump up, getting better head-studs, newer headgaskets that can take some boost, I am talking him into guages.

The truck had a new C6 auto tranny put in 11,000 miles ago. New tires (255/80/R16) with some very nice directional wheels. Only 140,xxx miles on it and he paid $1100 for it

Now he is talking me into hooking up to him.

Those trucks are very reliable if you leave them alone.

yeah, I know of one that has been a guy's tree service truck for at least 13 years, and he has never had any troubles with it and never had to do any major repairs to it. It is not a sled pulling monster though. Just a good pickup.
