Hope you're not thinking about giving up your 12v for an 02... Injection pump failure, front end parts wobbling, 53 block?

As previously said, you don't have to worry about the 53 block. The main thing is do the key on and off 3 times, leaving it on the 3rd time, and look at the odomoter for codes. You can do a search on this board and find out what the codes mean. That will tell you if the injector pump is about to go. That's the biggie.

If it is a 02, there is no worry about a 53 block! But chech for dash cracks, and also look at the fuel pressure. aside from that the 02 was the best year for the 24valve.

02 should have disk brakes in the rear also. Look at the tires might give away front end problems. Ask about maintenance, fuel filter in particular. Ran into a guy who didn't even know where the filter was. If it's at a dealer try to locate the previous owner and talk to them before buying it. Could save some major headaches. Look at my sig I just found out today all kinds of neat things.
