Amsoil orders

all you amsoil users, watch your orders. they are now adding a 5 % 'surcharge' to all products! as if it is our fault that petroleum is out of sight!!

I love my amsoil don't get me wrong but I sure like the price of MOPAR ATF+4 from the Local Wally Mart for about 4.00/Qt. Big difference from 9.00/qt Amsoil... Right now I have AMSOIL in the Diffs and trans, I think I might go with Mobil one in the diffs and Mopar in the trans next time I need it..

It really sucks that everything is going up, not just Amsoil. I will still use Amsoil in all of my stuff though. It has never let me down and I don't see any reason to change.

Why are you surprised? Amsoil announced the sure charge was going to happen back in May due to the higher cost of the products they use and the higher cost of freight delivers to the plant due to higher diesel cost passed on to them by the trucking companies. BTW were you surprised when the tire companies said they will raise prices 20% or that the cost of car and diesel engine oil has gone up about 25% in the last 6 months?

That's why I bought 10gal of Interceptor for the sleds with my recent order, even though I won't need the stuff for another 5 months. I'm bettin' it won't be cheaper in November!

I bought enough oil to last at least a year before they talked about the price hike so the price increase did not affect me at all, that is until I need more and by then I hope is goes back down but I doubt it will.

Dont use amsoil anymore.

Amsoil might be good but its to pricey. I went to Rotella synthetic this year and back to the fleet guard filters. I getting ready to change my ATF, going to walmart and buy the mopor for 4 bucks a quart. The only thing I have left on my truck that is amsoil is the ait filter element. I may keep using that unless someone comes out with something better. Dont have any gripes about amsoil's quality. I just dont like their prices and having to pay to be a perferred customer. I think their prices are high dur=e to their pyrimid sales structer.
