I just checked today on my truck order and was advised plant now shut down for christmas holidays has anyone else heard this story. He also told me to check other dealers in Edm. to see if they have a 2 wh dressed same or close to what I ordered and he can try to trade to get it for me. I can not believe this :'( :'( :'(

 

Would or could you buy one down in the US, I can locate one for you in like 2 minutes if it is out there anywhere

 

Can you say TAX !!! The import fee on a new vehicle would just about double the price.. US imports are not really an option.. Luke, you forget that these trucks are $10,000 cheaper up here than down in the USA. Do they really take the whole month off in Mexico...surely not ???... ... :'(

The reason new trucks are cheaper in Canada is because DC knows they couldn't sell them at US prices up there with the Canadian dollar being of so much less value than the US dollar. What really bugs me is that they build most of the 2500's in Mexico, where the average assembly line worker makes in a day what his counterpart in the US makes in an hour or so, and then they sock it to US buyers and pocket the difference...and we put up with it! I'm strongly considering a PSD because all production for the US market still comes from Ford's Kentucky truck plant.

 

I bet they also take siestas in old Mexico. I wonder if they get paid while sleeping?

 

They are building trucks as I type this..what dealer are you talking about gerry? he actually told you to try to locate your own truck with the other dealers in town?..What is it you want and I can check to see what we have coming....c ya

Mountview Dodge in Lethbridge......cloth or leather ?..oops..I see it is a 2wd. I know I don't have anything close like that...BTW, why didn't u go for the 3500srw?..same truck except for overloads(the old camper special group) and it will legally give u another 1100 lbs gvw with no diff in ride for about 490 bucks.
