Just ask him for a dyno or drag slip and mention that their is no way that a stock turbo can do that.

Actually, they're darn close to 800, if not past it. Talk to qzilla on this board. Keep in mind that almost all of the Duramaxes you see modified have stock turbos, as there aren't any good affordable aftermarket alternatives yet. So they use nitrous to increase the oxygen the engine gets, instead of a bigger (or second) turbo...

I have seen one go to 750 HP with boxes all stacked up like pancakes and a healthy nitrous shot. I believe it had some mild extrude honed inectors.

Also, to answer the question about the fastest street-legal Dodge. I think it will be Maddog again as soon as he can get his setup all figured out. He had an 800 run going when he huffed a turbo or blew a hose or something at around 2400 rpm. The original link is over in TDR...
There are several guys in the low to mid-ten's with 2wd Dodges...

If I am not mistaken, someone said a guy that goes by Super Diesel dynoed over 800. I read it on the Diesel place, and he had the sheet as proof. It has been a while back though. It can be done. Yes turbos are limited right now, and the ones that they have are in experiment, and pricy. The stack is the way right now due to the engine temp is very unfriendly!

As for Dave (superdiesel) there was a huge controversy about the correction factor, it was at 1.19 to 1. he made 794 hp corrected, uncorrected at 1 to 1 was 666 hp. Clint Cannon (ATS Diesel) made 76x hp at a 1 to 1 CF with honed injectors and an Aurora turbo. Thats the closest to 800 that I know of.
