2002 CTD Any 53 Blocks
I am looking at an Extremely low mileage 2002 2500 CTD SLT Quad Cab Loaded (well under 10,000 miles) and when you see the truck you can tell it is actual miles, all the inspection marks, part numbers are clean and visible, all the plating and finish on the bolts look like new and everything. I drove a new 2005 that had about 150 miles on it at the dealer that was dirtier than this truck. Anyway, I forgot to check the block for the casting, I think the 53 blocks were mostly gone by late 2000 and early 01, but is there any chance of an 02 having one. I can get this truck pretty reasonable considering the miles, he wants a new Mustang GT and they were trying to screw him on trade-in and he said he will sell it to me for slightly more than dealer trade-in value on a 2002 with normal miles, he is trying to get a 2005 GT for the marked down prices before the last one is sold. I ran the Carfax and it came up clean.
I was looking at a 2001 ST Quad that sold before I got back, it had 50k and I am glad it sold first since I can get this truck for about the same price.
Also, other than change the oil is there anything else I should do to a diesel that has been driven very little over the last 3 years?
