1psi propane vapor worth it?
This may be a silly question, but I have a trip coming up thats almost 3,500 miles round trip and want to try a temp solution to bump mpg a little.
Ok so here goes, what sort of gain might I get by running a bbq propane tank and regulator at only about .7-1psi for the trip. It will just be on the whole time driving and I'll turn it off when I stop the truck.
This isnt for my 92' 12v, its for an 05' diesel. Please dont beat me too bad, I really have no knoledge or experience with LPG.

Its kinda old technology but I think it still has a place in the diesel world.

I run LPG on my truck and it does ad power, It is a simple homemade system and it does work. As far as mileage improvements, it helps it enough to offset the cost of the propane, that is about it.
