1psi propane vapor worth it?

This may be a silly question, but I have a trip coming up thats almost 3,500 miles round trip and want to try a temp solution to bump mpg a little.

Ok so here goes, what sort of gain might I get by running a bbq propane tank and regulator at only about .7-1psi for the trip. It will just be on the whole time driving and I'll turn it off when I stop the truck.

This isnt for my 92' 12v, its for an 05' diesel. Please dont beat me too bad, I really have no knoledge or experience with LPG.

Its kinda old technology but I think it still has a place in the diesel world.

Unless you get propane very cheap it's not worth it.

I run LPG on my truck and it does ad power, It is a simple homemade system and it does work. As far as mileage improvements, it helps it enough to offset the cost of the propane, that is about it.

LPG is restricted from certain bridges and tunnels. Mostly on the east coast, I think. Might affect your travel plans.

Water is free. The systems aren't cheap, but the fuel mix is from the washerfluid.
