WMO question
How risky do you guys think it'd be to run this in an LBZ duramax? I noticed one guy here has a HPCR and runs it. The injection systems are almost identical. I would think I may just have to run less than some of the older trucks. Had anybody ever added anything to the WMO to bring up the combustibility like cutting with a small amount of gasoline? I dont know, that may be uncharted territory just asking.
keep in mind my is a 97 12valve, which is known for being durable.
just got back from a 1500 mile trip running 40-50% waste oils. used ATF, used engine oil and hydraulic oil from a frame machine.
simply dumped 10 gal wmo , than added 10 gal diesel.
no filtering... no processing of any kind. dump it straight into tank.
only thing different is I've been changing out fuel filter extra to monitor condition.
do make sure I don't get any oils contaminated with water.
I've run high as 90% WMO, but that ended up clogging injectors.
go max 50/50 ... for 12v and you will be fine. higher if using only ATF.
pay attention to thickness of mixture.
you equipment was designed to move fuel thickness of diesel. long term effects of running much thicker fluids still remains to be seen.
I'm willing to be the guinea pig for running WMO... so don't run extreme mixtures just quite yet. start low... then work up..

Only using 2 gallons per tank right now and I'm filtering the crap out of it. Running several passes through a 1 micron bag filter and then several passes through a 0.5 micron bag filter. And the filters are doubled bag for increased efficiency. By the second pass the 0.5 micron filter has a 99.9% absolute efficiency rating.
