So...WMO question?
Didn't Peterbuilt have an automatic oil replacing system on some rigs for awhile, that would burn used motor oil at a certain rate, replacing the amount in the crankcase with fresh oil?
More info from Cummins' Australian website http://www.cumminsengine.com.au/au/p...inel_data.html
I was readin up on the forum, and saw people used coffee filters to get out the chunks out of the oil. And I got bored this evenin and decided to see if it actually works. Nixed that idea in bout 2 minutes. way to slow, and not worth the time. I think I'll just keep on thinkin of gettin a pump to pump it through a filter. I'm thinkin of this pump

but what kind of filter should I put infront of it to filter the oil?? think a smaller clear fuel filter would work? I really have no clue, what do yall think would work here??

I hate the high prices of fuel as bad as anyone else does but what is the real benefit of dumping motor oil in the tank here?
Does it up the MPG enough to make it worth while?
Is it better for the engine?
Is that oil burning up completely and not coking up on your turbo?
What it it doing to the cat on a newer engine?
What does it do to the emissions from the engine?
Is it worth the hassle of getting caught?
Just curious here..
I'm thinking of a two stroke weed eater engine and what it does. That is why Stihl and others are building four stroke weed eater and other small engines to clean up the emissions.

ok found the perma-cool, sounds like it works pretty good, with a good pump, did you get the kit, or the filter with male or female ends?? I know now where to buy the separator, but then it's the connections, which shouldn't be hard, but I could not find the pump online. seems like the separator is a good deal though.
Snapper is correct about GA being LAX. That is why all of the Revenue agents have been checking at various Weigh Stations, the color of the fuel.
Black Diesel will NOT get you in ntrouble, unless you are hiding something. You can legally by Federal Law burn up to 7 % capacity of burnt or WMO. Cummins still has on some trucks, a system that slowly burns oil & just replaces it from a tank mounted behind the cab. I used to drive one like that.
It does not COKE up the pumps or Injectors AT all. It improves the lube value of your fuel. It gives you more HP, because it rquires more heat to make it reach its flash point, as opposed to straight diesel. It will make your VP44 last a long time. I have been doing it for probably 5 years, just to get rid of it. Now I use it to mask the red fuel I use.
The last ime I was checked in My Big Truck, I was lucky, had filled up the day before with HWY fuel. The Revenue agent told me, that they did not care IN GA if you run burnt motor oil, as long as he could not detect a red tint to the fuel. Many of the guys who race diesel use it with their fuel mixes. I don't even filter mine except from one bucket to another, thru a T shirt. Balk at it all you want. I haven't replaced a LP or VP in about 5 years. I also pay less for my fuel this way. It also runs great in my GF's VW TDI. I am going to continue using it more & more. I pay taxes on it, when I or someone else buys it. It is called SALES TAX.
