i just called a local gocart shop and they told me they sell 5 gal barrel of methanol for $34.95. is this in the neighborhood of what other people are paying for it? and if your brewing your own, on average, how much methanol do you use and how much bio is made with that amount of methanol???

I can get 55 gallon drums for $300 I havent oredered yet but that doesnt seem to bad of a price.

300 for 55 gal is way high. I sell it at $4.75 a gallon lately (it has gone up). I was selling it at $3.75 a gallon.

Maybe good thing I havent ordered any yet. What I can get is 100% pure methonal is that what you sell.

Mine is 99.9%. Close enough. Usually 99.9% is branded as 100%.

costs me 260.00 for a 55 gal drum of methanol. in june of 04-the same drum cost me 175.00!!!!

Never bought it by the 55 but have been paying $6.25/gallon for boost juice which is 1/2 water.

methanol varies a lot. the first time I got it I paid 225$ delivered for 55gal and the second time it was 145$
Make sure to test your methanol with a hydrometer if theres any question about water contamination.

we are buying 3 55 gallon drums at a time at 285 each.

I just ordered another drum locally for 199$ delivered including drum fee. Shop around, but some places will be more expensive since methanol is one of those odd things to buy.. the price jumps all over the place
