Now $6.63 with a few higher near major state HWY's

Most places are $5.99 or 6.09 around here the past week or so.

 

Diesel dropped a little here...Down to $4.79 in competitive places...Still way too high......Ben

 

Peeked at $6.25 at one station. Doping now to $5.50 at another. Gas has also dropped a little.

 

Saw it at $4.29 yesterday...I still didn't need any, but maybe next month......Ben

 

I still didn't "need" it, but seeing OPEC's hand creeping into my pocket again, I ventured out...GasBuddy reported one staion at $3.71 which of course was false...On my way home I saw prices of $4.59 - $4.79...Approaching my house I noticed the station that normally has the highest prices in the area had not upped their diesel price from $4.49, so I topped off there with my credit card...Getting 4% back made my net cost $4.31 for 42 gallons...I ordered a 50 gallon auxiliary tank yesterday, so maybe the next time I see it considerably lower I can fill to my new 102 gallon capacity......Ben

 

Dropping some now...As low as $3.89 here in Conroe today...Still too high though......Ben

EDIT: A friend just told me he bought diesel yesterday for $3.45 in Overton...

Dropped to $4.94 up here.

 

The lowest price I've seen in person here is $3.65...I attended two out of town gun shows yesterday, so chances are I'll need to fill up again sometime in January instead of February as originally planned......Ben

 

Diesel dropped to $4.20 in my AK town. Yep, still too high.

 

We see similar pricing in NJ as well, anywhere from $4.00 to $4.99, depending on which place you want to get robbed by.

 

I still think I can stretch my October fillup out to February...Got a gun show this weekend though so it'll be tight...Average price here right now is $3.79, but I still see places north of $4.25...I'll decide next week whether to buy or wait......Ben

 

Didn't quite make it...With over 100 miles to cover on the gun show circuit tomorrow, I didn't want to take the chance of being forced to buy higher priced fuel on the road...I filled up with 90.5 gallons of Sunoco #2 at $3.869...With careful conservative driving, I hope to get to the end of April before getting robbed at the pump again......Ben
