The new normal here is $3.29, but the last holdout is the local HEB grocery at $2.99, so I topped off my tanks today...I suspect they'll raise it to match the others at the first of the month...So I have 100 gallons on board again which should carry me well into October...But I'll probably top off again in September while Discover Card is still paying me 5% back on fuel purchases......Ben

 

Diesel jumped from up 20 cents to as much as 35 cents at some stations during the last week. Glad I filled my transfer tank and topped off my heating oil before the jump.

 

Diesel now $4.50 to $4.75, heating oil is $4.25. Mid-grade for the car is $4.70. I expect diesel to be over $5 by years end.

 

Everything up another 20 cents a gallon.

 

And back down 20 cents a gallon.

 

Went toy shopping yesterday. Diesel prices in my area range from $4.14 to $4.58. Highest prices in my closest city 20 miles away. Lowest price was my closest station 5 miles away.

 

Within 30 miles of me (nothing is close in Alaska), diesel ranges from $3.33 to $3.70 a gallon.

 

In my area it is 3.73 and 3.99

 

Diesel is going up. Nothing less than $3.45. One station, the cheapest one, jumped 15 cents overnight.

 

On its way up. Diesel Low: $3.60, High: $3.80. Heating oil $3.40. RUG: $4.17 to $4.40 locally. When I was in the big city a couple weeks ago it was a lot higher.

 

Diesel is running $3.50 to $3.80 a gallon currently after a summer average of $3.80. I wonder why it dropped?

 

- Diesel: Around $5.03 per gallon.
- Regular Gasoline: Approximately $4.75 per gallon.
- Mid-Grade Gasoline: Around $4.94 per gallon.
- Premium Gasoline: Roughly $5.07 per gallon.

Diesel jumped 30 cents a gallon overnight here to $3.50 at my regular stop. As high as $4 at some stations.
