could you have an attorney draw up a quick letter to the IRS stating that your case is pending appeal from the state of NC? That way you could stall them a little longer and try to get a hold of somebody in the appeals system to see what is going on with your case. I'm just trying to think of anything and everything you can do to fight this. Really I want to see you fight them tooth and nail

Looks like my diesel will be back on the road in a couple weeks after a transmission rebuild.

I am getting ready to submit my blenders license paperwork to the IRS and hope to get back on the black stuff (WMO) soon.

I have to wait on the IRS 1st then I can get my North Carolina license once I have my federal number.

6 months off the waste products so I am hoping to get back in the swing of things LEGALLY this time!

Cant tell you how much I am looking forward to that $0.75 a gallon fuel!

I need to get a personalized license tag that has my blenders license number right on it!

COME ON AND DIP ME NOW YOU MONEY GRUBING ******!!!!!

25 years of paying federal and state income taxes and now I have found one more tax I can pay....You have got to love a system that penalizes you for trying to get ahead!

Why or how did they stop you what gave them the right to dip your tank did they have a warrant?

You give them the right when you register your vehicle and buy license tags.

They dont have to have a warrant and if you refuse they will fine you the same amount of money for not allowing them to check it.

Basically if your vehicle is licensed and registered to drive on the road they have given themselves the right to check your fuel to make sure it is road tax paid fuel.

As far as my incident they saw the truck stopped on the side of the road stopped and checked it because it was a diesel no other reason given or needed accoring to our fine state and federal government.

Just a thought but you might modify the fuel tank so that a small portion is always filled with road fuel. Then the rest of the tank could be blended fuel with a hidden filler.

First time I have ever seen it or heard of it.

They are going to fill those budget shortfalls somewhere and I guess people trying to save on fuel costs are a good target.

The first thing you need is Form 637 Application for Registration Activity letter "M"....This will get you the Ferderal license to blend.

And Form 720 Quarterly Federal Exise Tax Return will be what you need to pay.

Not sure how Florida handles the state tax but a quick look around the internet should get you the proper forms.

The IRS forms are all available online.
