Help Putting gas in diesel truck
My friend just called me and told me that he had put 100.00 (diesel)in his F350 truck THEM a little while later he saw diesel for 3.65 and put in 5 more gallons of Prem. Unleaded by mistake? what to do?

I did something similar a few years back when my local gas station decided to switch pumps and blends.
I was running on fumes when I went to the gas station and put it about 20 litres of premium unleaded.
Then I jumped on the highway and drove 15 miles to work and parked the truck. During the ride the truck didn't run strange at all.
I came out a few hours later to go for lunch and started the truck. It had a REALLY hard time starting, but it did and then all hell broke loose. Engine was knocking REALLY bad, within a few seconds there was more white smoke in the parking lot than clouds in the sky.
Since I'm an idiot, I didn't realize what had happened and tried running the truck a few times after that. The longest time being probably 10-15 minutes of it idling.
It was my supervisor who made the comment while we were looking out at the cloud making machine that "I've only seen this much smoke when our new drivers have put gas into the diesel trucks"...sigh
I drained as much of the gas I could by opening the drain valve on the fuel filter and turning the key to the ACC position.
I then put it about 60 litres of fresh diesel and dumped a bottle of 2 stroke Walmart oil in the tank along with a half bottle of Stanadyne that I happen to have in the truck.
Tried starting the truck, it knocked a bit, smoked a lot and finally started to run normal. I let it idle for a few hours on and off over 2 days before I decided to try it on the road again.
Knock on wood, but haven't had any problems since.
As a side note, all the white smoke helped me find a couple of exhaust leaks
