Are the guages from a gas truck the same as the diesel truck

Does anyone know if the guages out of a gas truck will work in our diesel trucks? thanks

Yes the gauge cluster is the same.

No tach in the gauge cluster on a 1st gen AFAIK. The one in my 91.5' came out of a gas truck and works perfectly with all the same functions.

No prob, everyone is here to learn. From what I hear the the second gens are the same also. The higher tach range is used by pullers running over 4K. Not sure about the third gens.
