When do we start? I'll even volunteer to help set up the drilling rigs. My only suggested stipulation would be: all oil drilled here, stays here.

Yeah, I agree with you. I've often wondered why must we donate to such groups to support our interest when we're already paying taxes and electing politicians that are supposed to be supporting our interests? If we donate to the groups to support us, then can we fire our politicians and get a tax refund for not doing their job of supporting our intersts?
