I personally haven’t seen any issues or heard of any. I don’t think that the hoses are Rubber anyway (Which will deteriorate with B-100).....I think it’s a Synt rubber....which will hold up to B-100 no prob.

I am sure that price is for B100, right?. The funny thing is, that is actually down about a buck since I started looking for it in late 2000.
B100 from a 'dealer' isn't cheap. The only way to get that at a relatively inexpensive level is to brew your own, and then you have those up front costs.

The last time i bought B-100...i paid about $2.25 (When diesel prices were still $1.50....man....i just dont want to think about it!!!)....that was about 2 years ago....and now the dude (Peter Bell) has branched out to do the Bio-***** thing in Carls Corner, Texas. I got my butt reamed from my wife for buying fuel at $2.25 a gal!!!!!! AND the tank opened up on my way home in the back of my Nissan truck.......ate the paint......yeah....great day.....

I get B100 straight from the refinery. $2.46 a gallon. I fill up 55 gallon drums. Ran b100 for a couple thousand miles and heard that it's not good to run b100 through a common rail. So now I just pump it into the tank after putting #2 in. I still run B50 or so in the VW. Above B20 or so I do notice a small drop in mileage, about 10% in the VW, which isn't much considering #2 is now more than 10% more expensive than B100.
I have run easily 500 gallons of bio through the ram in it's almost 120,000 miles and have had not a problem. I don't know that I notice it being much quieter. I do notice that there is less black smoke though.
My brother has also been running it through his 84 MB and it is quieter and runs a little better.
BIO IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!

Buckshot: It's garbage, its expensive, you get lousy mileage, and it's bad for your vehicle. Don't use it. Stick with number 2 or use dieselsecret. Better yet, buy those pills you drop in your tank. it will work out allot better for you. KD

care to back ANY of that up? I pay .34 a gallon less for B100 than #2. I see the same mileage with B20 as I do with #2. SO for me that is two myths busted...
I think he was being Facetious.................................that is how i took it.....
