Just the front. I'll just have six states mod one of my extras. Don't know why or when you need to go with a two piece. There is only about 5 feet from my t-case to my diff. I could retube the one off my '92 donor.

we can make them too if you want? and can be balanced with out weights.

but i would have thought the wheel base would have been the same from a long box x-cab and a crew short box but i don't know.

You are right about the wheel base, but my donor driveline is out of a standard cab. Also, the donor was an auto, and the crew is the nv 4500 which I think is shorter. I havn't measured it yet.

I think that 149" is also the same as a Club Cab with an 8' bed.

The 5-spd truck came with a bonus. 25 gallons of good ole' number 2, diesel that is.

Other than siphon out the gold, all I have done is cut 18 inches off the frame rails so I can park it closer to the shop and get it out of the way.

I have had little time to do anything for a couple of weeks. Work and school and family.

I hope to get on the rc as soon. If I just stuff it in and don't get fancy. It should go fast. My debate right now is on springs. Clearly the schoolgirl springs on the fron of the ram-c will not suffice. Do I use my 5 inch lift set off the crew? Put stock 3/4 ton ctd in there? Buy a set? I'm worried about this shorty truck riding like a pogo stick.

Yeah, I have a lot of options. I can't decide how tallto make the rc. I know softer springs will make for a better ride and articulation, but I realy don't want to dink with this one. I just want to get it working then get back to the crewcab. Will probably put on a stock set of 3/4 tons up front and throw it all together. Let the good stuff be a future progect.

that will be the easiest, you should have the rc done by tomarrow right?
if you want articulation put rears on the front, i have a freind that did't on a blazer with cross over steering and a lift, it was really cool, that thing can flex.

you should be able to start with stock diesel springs up front and the RC's for the rear.

Finally worked on the crew again. Fixed the cab mounts and painted the frame. Check out the blogsite.

I wonder why rears on the front would flex more?
