I have been busy this weekend. Installed a Borgensen shaft. second baby seat, new battery and terminal clamp, and finally the door panels. I had been holding off putting on the panels so I could do sound deadener and speakers, but in an effort to snowball some debt the rest of the interior will have to wait. I am not happy with the color of the rear panels, they wanted about 60 bucks to mix me up some matching paint, so I just grabbed a grey off the shelf. I will repaint them later. I did get some thick plastic on the doors for a weather barrier. Somebody had asked for a pic of the rear driveline so I threw that up as well. Happy May Day everyone!

On a side note. I talked with a guy just north of me after spotting his Craigslist post for his Crew Cummins Conversion. He was second owner, the original owner built the truck in 1994 in Dallas, Oregon (next town west of me). It was an LE with a long bed, they stretched the frame and uses a 70s cab. Truck was in great shape, only down sided was some rust in the cab that started to weep through. We I tried to go look at it and then informed him that his asking of 10k was way too low. He sold it the next day for 10k. Someone from Oregon City got a screaming deal.

CarQuest Has the Gray you need $12 bucks.
Graphite is the color you want.
It matches the Dodge Gray to a T

Nice, thanks for the lead on the paint. I will pick some up next time I am in Corvallis. Sad to say but I haven't done a thing but drive it all summer. It is in need of a bath and sound proofing! Oh and a radio too.

Radio??? My cummins sings the only tune I need to listen to. I only have the stock radio...AM/FM WITH Cassette...Ohhh Babby!!!...for the clock.

Nothing wrong with enjoying your hard work for a while. The truck is functional and that's the main thing. I finally just got a new front window seal installed...trying to cut down on the gallons of water pouring into the truck every time it rains. But I also noticed I have the dreaded cowl cracks...so no carpet for another year until I can fix the cowl cracks.
